Default ds160

hello everyone,

New to this but have had a wee scan around and feel like you are the bunch of people to help!

Doing this bloody ds160 (not very user friendly is it?) and I cant for the life of me work this one bloody bit out! I am travelling with my wife and obviously want to make this a group application so my question is

What the hell is the "thank you" page where I click to open the joined application for my wife? Where is it? How can I find it? What do I do?

Any help would be AMAZING as I will look like the hero for figuring it out all on my own... hahaha brownie points are always good

cheers

When we submitted our DS-160s in July we did one each. I'm not sure you can submit a joint application. Others may know differently however.

Thanks. If that works I will just do it that way. Everywhere I looked it was talking about the "thank-You Page" linking the two Ds-160's together but cant find anything else on it...frustrating to say the least

You need to upload a photo of each person. So if you haven't done that you know you still have work to do.

At the end of your DS-160 there was an option to add a new person. In the end I found it easier to complete two seperate DS-160s.

Its ok I figured out how to do the joint application haha by accident! photos and everything done easy ozzy

once you get to the signed and submitted bit if you click email confirmation and send it to two emails and then it says "Thank you" and create family application is there! Makes the next form (i.e. mine since my wife is the main applicant) a lot shorter as they already have a lot of the information required

#WINNING!

Sorry - just seen your post - was going to say that as far as i remember, you do yours first, it goes all the way to the end then asks if you want to do a family one...

Glad you are sorted - good luck with it all!!

Yeah it just hadnt worked the first time I had submitted so I was a tad confused its all good now though as soon as we sent it to two email addresses (one to our visa lawyer and one to us which we didnt do the first time) the thank you page popped up!

Sending everything off tomorrow so I will let everyone know what the processing time is like at the moment on this thread. Just incase anyone is submitting soon
