Hi, I am with a company "X". the company is not doing well. they have asked us to move out
as they are unable to pay our salaries. Now my doubt is If I start searching for a and get
a job after a month or two will I have to produce the latest pay stub for my H1 transfer
or will a old one do? Will it be a problem for me to transfer my H1 visa without the
latest paystub

quick response will be appreciated

Thanks

You have ten days to file the transfer before you fall out of status. However, don't
panic. If it takes longer than that to find a new job, simply apply anyway and ask INS to
excuse you being out of status. They typically do, and then you will be treated as if
nothing had happened.

However, you should NOT take advantage of the new provision allowing you to change
employers before a transfer is approved.
