Default Does anybody have the same experience of mailing I-751 through Fedex?

I mailed the package through Fedex three weeks ago. From the internet
track information, I found fedex delivered the package to Williston ,
VT instead of St. Albans. I called fedex they said that immigration
people have their own carrier that they will come to Williston to pick
up the package. The main thing bother me is that on the internet track
information The recipient address is not complete. The address on the
internet is as the following

RECIPIENT:
ATT: Original submission I-75
US DEP. OF Homeland Seceurity
Bereau of citizenship & I
St. Albans, VT 05479
US

I swear I write down the correct address, I did not know how fedex
deal with the address. They omit a lot of letters.
Because I will go abroad at MAY, I need the NOA. What should I do ?
Please help.
Thank you all.

Did you include a check for the fee or money order? If check, has it
cleared? If yes, get a copy of it, it will tell you your 'SRC' receipt
number - it should be written somewhere front or back of the check. (You
will need if you call the service center if your letter does not arrive soon
or if your check does not clear).

The ckeck was not cashed. If it was cashed, at least I know they
receive the package. Have to wait.

In all our dealings with the Vermont Service Center, US Consulate in Montreal, BCIS local office in New York City over the last almost six years have we ever used fedex or any type of express mail. Always have used certified, return receipt requested mailings as it provides proof of delivery, etc. and the fact that the envelopes are not opened the same day they are received, we never felt that using next day delivery service was necessary.

I don't doubt that you wrote down the correct address on the fedex form and I'm sure you have your copy of it so you have proof of address and fedex's acceptance of the package on such and such a date and time.

Anticipate a week for the package to be given to the main mailroom in St. Albans and another day to reach the correct department for processing. The first NOA should be received within ten days of the date on your cancelled check when it surfaces.

Here is our timeline for VSC and the first NOA:

May 17, 2002 mailed via certified, return receipt requested
May 20, 2002 received and accepted in Vermont
May 23, 2002 received green card with May 20th receipt date
May 28, 2002 received Notice of Action extending card for 12 months

You will be hearing soon. Don't worry.

Somebody mentioned for TSC that they had 2 addresses:
- 1 for regular mail
- 1 for Fedex

Could that be it? You should be able to dig for that on the BCIS webpage.
