DLP (Distance Learning Program) and H1B/L1 visa

Hi,

I have a bachelors degree in computer systems from British Columbia
Open University (BCOU) now Thompson Rivers University (open learning
division ) http://www.openlearning.tru.ca It is a 4 years program with
computer and managements modules, computer modules conducted and
management modules organized by Aptech in India.

I have read at many places about 4 year degree requirement for H1B/L1
visa and 3 years of experience if you have 3 years degree.

What are the extra requirements for a Distance Learning Course.

Will the degree make a good enough case to get a L1 visa.

Your prompt reply will help

Vishal

Any foreign degree needs to be evaluated as equivalent to a US degree. It is
ultimately up to the evaluator to decide if the degree is acceptable or
not.

An L-1 does not actually require a degree, although it is usually good to
support it.

An H-1B has a specific degree requirement.
