View Poll Results: What should happen to my deported neighbour's illegal immigrant wife?
Social services should give her some money, or at least a social security number so she can work.

In November 2003, after applying for my green card, we ran into EVERY problem imaginable.
After 6 months, my fiancee visa was approved - but BCIS never told us. A year later, they sent notice, by which time it had expired (no joke!)
Meanwhile my actual green card application got LOST for 18 months - it got sent to Minnesota for some reason and didn't make it back.
My immigration lawyer was no help whatsoever.
