Delay in receiving passport from US London Embassy

Delay in receiving passport from US London Embassy
Hi
I have attended H1B interview in the US London embassy on 14-Nov-11 (Mon),
i was said i can expect my passport before 18-Nov, but still i didn't received
any info on that, even in the thedx.co.uk site i couldnt find any updates for my
tracking number, anyone have any clue about when i can expect? for those
who have already attended can you pls post when you have received your
passport including from the day you attended your interview, thanks.

Wait till Monday? It's still the 18th and there's not much you can do till Monday if you still haven't received it...might be a late delivery.

but whether it will usually takes that much time for the london embassy to
deliver the passport.. any idea on how much time it usually takes in the london embassy?

3-10 days usually, depends how busy, what the visa is, if they have to double check anything, if the courier is having a off day, etc, etc, etc...doesn't really help you much and you're still within their window so they won't be able to help you out anyway, plus the embassy would be closed for business by now.

You can expect it, once you're notified by the courier that it's scheduled for delivery. They won't have that information until they actually have the passport... and no one can tell you when that'll be. Sometimes the passport will be returned within 3 days... sometimes it takes 2-3 weeks. It'll take as long as it takes.

You can expect it, once you're notified by the courier that it's scheduled for delivery. They won't have that information until they actually have the passport... and no one can tell you when that'll be. Sometimes the passport will be returned within 3 days... sometimes it takes 2-3 weeks. It'll take as long as it takes.

, i have a travel arranged on 24-nov, guys anyone attended H1B interview in london embassy? how many days it took for you to get your passports???.. your response is highly appreciated.. thanks

Some people receive it in 2 days, other people it takes 14 days, so even if someone else got a H1-B from the London embassy and they say "I got mine is 3 days" their case would be different to yours.
