Default CSC-Anyone file in November?

I filed and recieved my first NOA on November 22 of 2002. I haven't heard
ANYTHING. The website updated once from the original 34-64 days to 205-235
days. My fiance is from Yugoslavia and we are on pins and needles waiting...

Has anyone from this time frame been approved?

Thanks,

Mike

It seems that most people from November have been approved now - we were
from 29th November and were approved on 13 March. Think they're on to some
from January now.

Have you just been checking on the website? Ours says its still being
processed on the website but has actually been approved. If you haven't
already, it might be worth calling the automated phone system and checking
on there - ours was correct on there but not on the website.

I filed at CSC on Dec. 12, and received an RFE about 2 weeks ago. Although I
submitted the information over a week ago, the website information hasn't
changed. I understand there is a list of countries which are either not being
processed, or being processed carefully? I could be wrong, but did you check
to see if Yugoslavia is on that list?

You've asked this question in a variety of ways in several threads and gotten responses already. Keep it all in the same thread, it's easier to follow.

Yes there have been approvals for NOA-1 dates after 11/22 from CSC. The NG has been reporting approvals all the way up to 1/8/03 so far. Several of us from late November through December have also gotten RFE's in the past few weeks (I too had the same original 34-64 time frame as you, bumped up to 205-235 in late January. My RFE was issued at Day 95.)

In short, you have heard nothing even though your NOA-1 is dated a month earlier than CSC's last JIT report date for I-129F's of 12/23/02. If I were in your shoes, I'd be putting a decent amount of energy into trying to find out what is going on from someone who might actually be able to provide the real answer, such as BCIS (through you congressperson or even your own efforts), since others well past you are now receiving approvals and RFE's.

Before you do, just to dot all your I's and cross all your T's, call the case status line after business hours and use the automated system to check your status (other than one experience I've read here, it's updated the same day as action; in contrast, right now it seems that CSC has not consistently updated its info on the website for more than a week -- my RFE still doesn't show up, for example). If the phone status indicates either (a) no action at all or (b) action more than a few days ago but you have not received written notice of it from BCIS), I'd strongly recommend you be on the phone starting the next day to your congressperson and refining the art of being a very squeaky wheel. Who knows, they might actually be able to help.

Good luck to you!

Thank you for all your replies, I appreciate them VERY much.

I started an inquiry with Congressman Miller's office some weeks ago and,
although I've called back being the squeeky wheel, still can't get a response.

I don't know of a list of countries that are slow to be processed, can you tell
me where I can find this list? Also, does the BCIS notify you by mail before
forwarding an approved case to the NVC?

Once again, thank you all for your responses...I'll try to stay on the same
thread. Congratulations to all who have had success.

Mike

As to both of my senators, they require consent form before they can do
anything. I find those things on their own website.
