Default Crossing the Atlantic by ship

Is there some shipping/passenger line offering regular passenger service
from Europe to/from the US?
Also, does this necessarily mean that I would have to apply for a visa?
As I have no intention whatsoever of moving the the US, I definitely
would give up my vacation project if I have to provide US immigration
with personal details and proof of property/family/work just because I
would like to avoid ARDS and the risks of traveling by air with people
carrying weapons, be they terrorists or cops.
Thanks!
Pierre

Hello, there is plenty of information on this issue on various websites, for
example, http://www.immigration.gov/graphics/index.htm

If you want to go, you got to play the rules, just as simple. It doesn't
help you to tell this forum, what you wouldn't do.

If you belong to a nation with Visa waiver agreement, you don't need a visa,
otherwise, you need one!

Pierre,

First of all, **** that top-posting idiot Vern.

There are several companies that still offer transatlantic passage.
Cunard comes to mind.

I fully support your desire to cut through the Visa red tape. Certain
specialty shops can sell you a pair of plastic spectacles with an
attached fake moustache. I would suggest purchasing this item and
wearing it throughout your trip.

Cheers,
Big Joe
