chicago interview july 10th ..question

ok we got the letter to come in for our aos interview on the 10th in chicago now on
this paper it says to bring your I-94 and my husbands birth certificate and
translated and all that, wellll we sent that in when we did the orginal aos
package..they have that stuf..I dont.. I have a zerox copy of the I-94 is that what
they want? anyone know anything about this???

They want to see the originals of what you sent them. I do hope you've got it??

Too late now but you never ever ever send originals to the INS. Hopefully they'll
have everything in your file and you won't have to try and get copies again!

I applied for Adj of Status in Chicago August 98, had interview July 2000. I didn t
have fingerprints ( was never asked to) so they didn t stamp my passeport . INS sent
me to take them, they were cleared by FBI August 5th 2000, and since since day,
NOTHING from INS!!!
Hope you ll get the stamp!!! other wise interview went fine, 1 hour waiting,
interview 10 minutes, couple of questions about my country (France), and that was it.
If you got officer STEIN ( A lady) could you ask about my file !!!! lol

could you, plese, post your timeline! (when you filed, fingerprints, when you
received interview letter etc) What kind of documents they requested to bring to the

Filled 17 August 1998 Interview 23 July 2000 Since I didn t have fingerprints, INS
sent me to have them taken Fingerprint 27 July 2000, cleared by FBI and sent back to
INS August 5th 2000.
Since this day, no word!
Documents we brought to interview. Sorry but I don t remember specifically. We just
brought following what they asked us to bring. ( Tax stuff, pictures, marigae
license, bank account, mortgage ...)
