California I90 Processing times.
I got my Permenent Resident Card, they screwed up and put I am female.
I call today and they tell me I ned to file an I90 and prove it was there
mistake to avoid the fee, anyone have any experience of processing times on
I90's with the Fresno Office? The person on the phone happily told me it
will take "probably a year" for them to corect there screw up! How can that
be right, they make a mistake on the card and then I have to wait a year for
a new card? I want to travel home!
Craig.

File the I-90 in person and get the damned stamp in your passport. There is no magic in the plastic card.

Re: California I90 Processing times.
We also had a mistake on the original I-90.Ours was through Sacramento and
it did take about 9 months for a new card but they did not charge us for the
new one. Just file for a new one, they will stamp the passport so you can
work and travel.
Remember that patience will help you help through this! I know it is a PIA
but in a few years you will have another story to relate about all the
obstacles that you faced! (originally I-129f filed in 6/99..been through a
few hoops and now waiting for Naturalization interview.)
Good luck.
