Hi,

I am working for a company that's going to file my green card application. I had
about 4 years and 9 months of work experience before I joined them. I will complete
my 5 years in June.

Is it true that there is no way my application could be filed in the EB2 category?
I'm an Indian citizen and filing in the EB3 category would just mean waiting for
years for the PD to become current.

Can't the current experience be used as long as it's "progressive" ?

Thanks

Yes. The time in the sponsoring company can not be counted towards the experience
requirements.

Well, the cutoff dates currently seem to be moving forward. At the time your I-140 is
approved, your PD may be current. You never know.

No. See above.
