Blaine, WA Temp EAD success?

I will be driving through the CAN-US border at BLAINE, WASHINGTON with a K-1 visa. I
MUST get a temp EAD at the border (I will be living in Chicago where it take forever
to get an EAD) and would like to know if anyone had success recently. Any fees
required? Thanks in advance.
