Default Baffled

Hi I'm new and i was hoping someone could help me. My 90 days is coming
up on my EAD application But nothing has happened yet. After a lot of
phone calls to USCIS and a visit to a lawyer, it turns out that a
receipt notice had been sent out. we did not receive it because of a
typo on the address. They also wrote my first name as a last name and
vice versa. Almost a month ago we called to correct the errors but to
date no changes have been made, no receipt sent out, no fingerprinting
appointment. I don't have a reciept to take with me to the local office
to request a temporary EAD. I don't know what to do. Any ideas?

Do you at least have the application receipt number? You must have it if you were changing the name and address? You may be able to make an Infopass Appointment with your local office to help clear this up and possibly receive an interim EAD. At the very least, call the help line again and try to get the address and name changed again. I am not surprised that it wasn't done the first time correctly.
