Approx. timescale
Hi everyone,
Looking for anyone who has recently received permanent residency via employment route.
Receipt date is December 2016. RFE requested December 2017 and paperwork submitted to attorney last week. RFE was about UK employment 6 years ago!
We have been stateside since 2012 on L1a/L2 visa. Currently have I-131 extensions pending as well.
My question - has anyone had recent RFE and how long after that did it take to get final decision?
Thank you

Which service center is handling your case? My EB-1C I-140 (from L-1A) has been pending with Texas since May 2017 and I was hoping for an approval soon. Maybe I need to reassess my expectations!

Re: Approx. timescale
I’m sure I’m right in saying that Nebraska has a longer lead time than Texas. While I can’t answer your initial question as I’m not that far along myself, I wish you all the luck there is and will watch this thread with interest.

Re: Approx. timescale
Our timeline looked like this (EB-1C filed at Nebraska)
August 2016 - I-140 & I-485 filed concurrently
September 2017 - I-140 approved without an RFE
December 2017 - I-485 RFE issued for expired medicals and proof of bona fide marriage
8th January 2018 - RFE response sent
12th January 2018 - I-485's approved, Card Production Ordered ()
Obviously your mileage may vary, and anybody with an I-485 filed since March 7th 2017 will have to be interviewed which will probably extend the process somewhat.
