It was such a surprise today to get the appointment letter in the mail for Chicago.
Our interview date is December 12, 2001. We filed on December 15, 2000 which means it
was LESS than a year. We were just about to send in the EAD renewal and also getting
ready to spend more money for AP, but now, hopefully no need. This comes at a really
great time because we were thinking of moving to San Diego and did not want to have
change INS centers. We just completed fingerprints on October 24th. They sent us the
fingerprint letter in August, but did not have a chance until October. So the
timeline from first submission of I-129 to now was 19 months. Very very excited...
