Default For AOS interview-Canadian Certificate of Divorce

Hi all,

Getting ready for our interview and to show I was divorced when I lived in Canada, I have the certificate of divorce. I spoke with a friend a Canadian divorce lawyer and she said that it is the final document in the divorce action there and actually has more details than the divorce judgment. So I think the certificate will be fine for the interview but wanted to check with the NG as I know there has been some discussion on this topic--but in the context of U.S. divorces and not Canadian ones.

You need the Certificate Absolut. The Certificate Nisi is not a finalized certificate of divorce.

I know, I married a Canadian divorced male ;-)
