Good, I was not being critical, I just wanted to be sure,
you fix the problem.
You should include date of birth, ssn, place of birth, address
phone number.

yes u are right even though i wasnt told to give them my address i should have written my address on form. because she told me to include my e mail address and phone number so they can let me know of result, thats all she said.I thaught at that moment that FBI might be doing work in timely fashion and in this day and age maybe they ARE capable of sending E mail back. BUT i was wrong. i will contact them again and include my address .

Thanx buddy. i guess now another wait starts i assume oath letter in april or may 2004 , I am in new york so i guess ceremonies are always full in new york. lets see......
another member "" elb "" posted that she faxed an inquire about her "name check" process on Dec.2nd. They sent their answer on Dec.9th. Pretty fast!!
It turned out they completed her checking on July 31st and sent the results to INS.
and she recieved oath letter in early dec 2003, It took INS 5 months!!! to schedule her to the Oath ceremony.
so maybe more than 5 months in my case.

Re: anyone with pending N400 oath ceremony
Friends,
My FOIPA name check form FBI came.
BCIS never requested a name check,
so for about a year, they have been
sitting on it and lied about it. The use
"name check" to explain every failure.
So I will file with the federal court .
But, I called a dozen immigration
lawyers, non willing to go to the court,
they all just want to file papers and
collect money.
Does any one know a lawyer in
Virgina or Maryland who is not
chicken?
You email a suggestion:

take it easy bud, you sound like
you are young (mid 20's?)
lots of time to be effed by the world.
This is nothing, go out have fun.
If they took longer take them to
court. It will be ok.

FOIPA response from FBI does not reveal if USCIS/BCIS requested a name check
for you or not. You have to ask explicitly the same section (where you sent
FOIPA request) the status of name check from USCIS/BCIS. FOIPA response just
indicate if the Bureau has any records maintained for you or not.
