anyone with this experience
My spouse filed my case for GC (Adjustment of Status) in June 2002 in NYC. I received EAD and AP.
We are moving to another state(OH). Is it possible to transfer my case to that state? If yes, then how much time does it take to transfer to a different state?

Yes, it is possible. There are a few steps.
You need to send the advice of your change of address to your local BCIS office. Check the following:
http://www.immigration.gov/graphics/howdoi/address.htm
You also need to complete an AR-11 (Change of address form) and send it to the address on the form:
http://www.immigration.gov/graphics/...orms/ar-11.htm
If your sponsor is also moving he/she will need to complete a I-865 (Sponsors notice of change of address) and send it to the address on the form:
http://www.immigration.gov/graphics/...orms/i-865.htm
I was also advised to go to the BCIS office I wish to be transferred to (if possible, and once you get to your new home of course) and advise them in person of your request. This may push the transfer along as from other experiences these transfers can be slow and you don't want to fall through the cracks!
Good Luck!
