Holy Cow! I don't have any data to contribute to your query. Sorry. But I
do want to wish you luck in getting your case adjudicated soon. Waiting
like this has to feel like torture. :-( Based on the AILA processing
reports, it sounds like your case is way overdue. You may have good reasons
to contact these folks.

Wow. You're definitely overdue for an initial decision.

Someone posted the 2003 CSC Processing Guidelines manual a couple of months ago. I'd use the instructions listed in that (near the back if I remember correctly) to start the fax inquiry process, assuming you haven't done that already. And if you haven't started raising san with your congressperson, now is the time.

The congressman's liason was told 30-40 days by CSC on April 7, she just did
another inquiry this last week. Still nothing.

I haven't a freakin' clue what's going on. I just returned from Yugoslavia
visiting my fiance' after six months of seperation, so at least we saw each
other. This CSC silence is just ridiculous and I can't seem to find a way to
change anything.

I'll look up the manual to see if there's anything I missed, thanks. Sounds
like Mr. Udall has it figured though, there's nothing anyone can do.

If there's anyone else out there in my situation, I'd love to hear from them.

our 2nd notice took 237 days (nsc)!!!! incredibly frustrating. got the same
run around as you are getting. did your fiance live in the US on any other
kind of visa previously?

i ask because this is why ours took so long. my guy had lived in boston, 22
years ago for 8 months on a H-3 visa. apparently they had to check this out.
took nsc 3 extra months to review his alien file from 1981!.

just a thought. boy, was it excruciatingly painful to see so many petitions
get approved from our date (Sept. 13, 2002) and way beyond, while ours was
just a sittin.......

hang in there. once it's approved, which i hope very soon, the rest will
happen quickly.

Hi,
We have a simular date CSC, and we got approval on May 1.
I am in impresion that we have a same slow officer.
What I did: I got more minutes on my cell phone and start calling them every day. Redial.....
Most of the time I got officer that very wery bad, but one day
I got one women and she told me: You are right this is not normal
let me talk to supervisor. She took my ohone number and told me to hung up she will call me back. And she did. I was at the meeting and not able to answer. She left a message saying that she give the note to the supervisor and it will be done soon.
When I called again next day I find out that we are approved.
So this is what you need to do.
Congressman, I don't think so. Try but I was not getting anywhere.
Now when you cannot call anymore CSC, you have to call
NAtional Cutomer Service. You know the number. It is tricky, but I think I did figure it out.
Please tell me if you want to do it so I can expalin you in more deatail. I have not recive my NOA II and I am calling them every day. Something will happened. This NCS is new and most of the people still don't know how they operate, but by calling every day you can learn a lot, every time you get something new.

My fiance has never been to the US. This makes everything more puzzling. I am a
naturally born US citizen and my parents the same.

I called the National Service line. I was told they would start an inquiry but
probably wouldn't hear anything for at least 30 days. I don't know if it's
true, but I'm leary of doing any more inquiries for fear that my case will be
shuffled away somewhere and not be on the desk of someone who will approve it.
Any thoughts on that?

The only other thought I have is to get media attention regarding the suffering
caused by this ridiculous system.
