We filed in Orlando July 15th 2002. So far our experiences with the office
have been fine. It did take over 90 days to be issued my EAD, and the
average time for your AOS interview, according to the info I have seen, is
18 months. I was issued a speedy AP, but I had included supporting documents
to show my father was in poor health and my son was serving in the Canadian
forces in Afghanistan.
You can file your AOS paperwork in person. Just be sure to get there early,
as the lineups can be rather long.
