Another success EAD after 90 days (NYC)

Well, I just got back from the City with my EAD.
Thanks to everone (especially to Rete) for sharing yor information.

Today was 94th day since the INS got my application. I've got yellow receipts from them and never heard ever since.
So this morning I just went there hoping to get my EAD card. I arrived to Federal Plaza a little before 8am. The line was already there and, although it was brutally cold, the line was long. However, in about 45 minutes I was in the building.
Like many advised, I didn't go to the third floor (information). Instead I went straight to room 900, stayed in a another line for another 40 minutes. INS officer checked my receipts, marriage certificate, husband's birth certificate (once again, whoever goes there, be sure to have a copy of everything. I didn't have a copy of marriage certificate and had to go to the 1st floor to make a copy) and new freshly filled-in application. My docs were accepted and I was told to sit tight and wait. In 2 hours they called my name, had me fingerprinted and photographed and... (woohoo!) I got my EAD card.

Gotta get a job now! :)

I had the same success a few days ago. Never received anything from the
INS, went in on my 93rd day and got the EAD card without any problems.
The only thing I could add is that the earlier you come the quicker it
will go. I came to the INS building at 7:20, and I think if I would have
been a little earlier I could have cut off 2 hours of my wait time in
the end.

Now it's time to worry about AP. I got an appointment letter, but I
received it after the appointment date. I guess that means standing in
line again.
