Amy's Baking Company - immigration angle

For those living under a rock, this is a restaurant here in AZ that was featured on Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares and he walked out on them because they didn't want help. It actually started a couple of years ago when they got an honest review on Yelp (by a friend of mine coincidentally) about their bad food and caused internet drama that won't go away.

Anyway it turns out the owner has been in removal proceedings for the past two years too.

From the rumors I gathered from the internet it sounds like a fairly serious misrepresentation of a bad criminal past. If it is true, I'm not sure what his options are.

Personally I think their 15 minutes are over but this was an interesting immigration twist to the story.

I watched that episode, and couldn't believe how incredibly hostile and downright looney they both were! You just can't tell USCIS to go f&ck themselves like Samy did to everyone else.

Evidently Sammi, an Israeli citizen, is banned from entering France and Germany.

And quite probably soon to add the US to that list too. Hope Amy enjoys living outside the US.

Can't say as I blame you one bit for that. Think my OH did the same.

I've been in the restaurant business a long time and have worked for some real scum but these guys take the cake.

North Korea?

With her rap sheet the options are limited.

Removal to Israel. Not much else. Just lying on the application is enough, regardless of the convictions.

She's a US citizen, am I reading this article correctly? He's the LPR.
