Hi, my first year EAD expires very soon. I received the cashier’s receipt for the renewal in April of this year. June 1st, I moved from NYC to Newark, NJ. I sent change of address forms to the INS and was received a finger printing appointment in Newark a couple of weeks ago.

My question is, should I continue to work with my EAD expired? Can my company fire for this? Or should I wait in line at Newark INS and demand a new card ASAP.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
