It's now been five weeks since the interview wheer I was advise that they wanted to do 'additional administrative processing'.

I've got the MP, congressman, attorney writing to the embasy, but nothing, just that standard email reply ' your application is pending we will revert to you when we need more info etc'.

Any ideas on what next?

Wait. This process often takes several months, occasionally
a year or more.

Hi Ben,

Me and my wife are waiting for more than two months and yet there is no communication from the US Embassy, London.

We applied for H1B and H4 visas and the visa officer said that they wanted to do an adminstrative processing.... We are still waiting.

I Emailed to the Embassy and they said that its still pending and will contact as soon as possible once the Aminstrative processing is complete.

It usually takes about 6 months or more, one of my friend got it in one month and others took about 5 months, but generally it takes very long.................

OK where did you applied for the visa, US Embassy, LOndon????
and what visa you applied for??????
