212 waiver
hi has anyone tried to apply for 212 waiver or I 192 advanced permission waiver after being denied b1 b2 visa on 212 grounds ? If so was it granted. Thank for any advice !

I-212 is technically not a "waiver" but "permission to reapply". It only applies specifically to the 9A and 9C bans.
What specific ban do you have? Were you also denied based on immigrant intent (INA 214(b))?

It’s his son. He has a controlled substance conviction from like 2 minutes ago (2018 I believe)
OP you were told previously your son has ZERO chance of getting a waiver for a period of several years. Nothing you can do to change this.

The son needs to wait at least 5 years, and potentially longer, before applying for another visa - and even that doesn't have any guarantee of success.

Hi all someone suggested these options to me but never heard of them myself so just put it out there on this fourm as yes helpful replies on my first post, as said these were suggested so just asking if we could try these options as I had not heard of them, but obviously don’t seem like we can. Thanks again.

It wasn’t suggested unless we are talking about an immigrant visa - and your son has no path to such a visa.

Did not say was suggested on this site ! Simply was suggested to me so asked about it on this site as isn’t this what this site is for to ask question and advice ?
