(1) My N-400 PD was 07/21 and oath will be taken on 11/21, exactly 4
months.
(2) My entry into the US on my K1 was on 11/21/02 and I will naturalise
on 11/21/06. So my K1-->AOS-->CPR-->LPR-->USC journey will
complete its course in exactly 4 years to the day. Not bad, not
bad at all.

That is very fast. I sent of my N-400 a few months before yours and was fingerprinted about a month before you and I have heard nothing! You must have been lucky and they picked your file for training or something, lucky you! Great news for you and pretty amazing stats there too!

Hi,
I don't know which is your local DO, but Chicago is averaging 4 months
for N-400 cases whose namecheck comes back in 72 hours. Check out
http://immigrationportal.com and you will find loads of people who have
averaged 3-5 months in Chicago.

Congrats on getting it cracked, I hope to do it in a similar timeframe.

Hi,
Today I took citizenship oath. My oath was held at 219 S. Dearbon.
Arrived there at 8:00 am for a 9:00 am ceremony. There were already 50
people ahead of me. Within 20 minutes, another 70 odd joined the line
after me. It took nearly 50 minutes for them to process each applicant
and seat us according to their intended scheme. Judge Virginia Kendall
arrived at 9:00 am sharp. The "Oath of Allegiance" and the judge's
speech took just 15 minutes. Another 15 minutes for the distribution of
the naturalisation certificates.
Hopefully today was my last interaction with INS/BCIS/USCIS :)

S K Ghori [email protected] http://www.vex.net/~skg/
**NOTE**
I underwent the immigration process in both Canada and the US. I hold
Pakistani, Canadian and US citizenship.
