Might not help: "US citizens or immigrants who are born male and changed their gender to female are still required to register. Individuals who are born female and changed their gender to male are not required to register." SSS: Who needs tor register

It has already been deemed unconstitutional for women to not be required to register, so that will happen one day.

The whole thig is moot anyway, unless the US military needs to start conscripting gaming geeks to operate drones and robot infantry.

Modern citizenship is best understood as a country having a claim on you. Countries decide who their citizens are, and that may not even involve consent. If in doubt, consider that one can't just renounce British Citizenship at will. Indeed, doing so requires permission from the UK ! And for some countries, citizenship can never be renounced - Morocco for example.

In this light, it's easy to see that while swearing allegiance to Her Majesty might be a requirement for naturalization, renouncing same allegiance isn't going to have any bearing whatsoever on one's British Citizenship. Even if naturalized (non-native born) British.
