Yep that's us and thankfully everything turned out ok.... we've booked a short term rental and we,re flying with Emirates on Sept 1st.
It's not far from Joonalup,the guy we've rented the house from has lived there for 9 years and he say's it's a lovely area...... so we'll see!

Not bad Chris, have slowly settled back but always at the back of my mind....I may be back one day. I can wish :o

As for Co Durham..............cold as usual but shouldn't complain that much as we had summer at the weekend. Got up to 24 degrees whooo hooo. Thats it though for the year now no doubt :D

Great to hear it turned out well for you all. We are flying out on September 10th, how did you hear of the short term rental from, we will be looking for short term in joondalup, currambine area too, any websites, addressess etc for short term rentals would be of help.

Maybe we could meet up when we are all settled and swap stories.

We got our short term rental from the website poms in perth but there are a few other sites..... emi-grate and aussiemove.com.au

They are a bit pricey compared to long term rentals, but i think anyone in this emigration game deserves a nice holiday in a nice house with ofcoarse a pool!

A meet up sounds good! We'll keep in touch through BRITISH EXPATS!

Friends of ours stayed here and they liked it very much.:)

term breaks up in 3 weeks (not the bloody 2 weeks that i thought today) we will get together in rocky, do lunch, let the kids mooch about the beach whilst we chat

or i'll come to you?


give me a shout and we'll thrash out details
