Well guys were here at last
 

Well Guys,

We have been here 5 days now and wow wot an exciting and busy time we've had!! I'll try not to bore you but here goes.........

We landed on monday night at 7.25pm local time and it was torrential rain as was tuesday (apparantly the worst weather in 10 yrs lol) Well we felt right at home it has to be said : )

We got up on tuesday morning and walked to town where we finalised our bank accounts, got ourselves tax numbers and went shopping.

Wednesday brought job interviews for John which was a bit strange!! Anyway to cut a long story short, he's been called back on monday for another interview with PWC for a management position, exciting I know but not as exciting as thursday when he went for a job interview at 4pm and was offered the job at 5pm..wow amazing or what...........He starts this wednesday so not much of a holiday for him unfortunately.. His wage is a fair bit more than it was in the UK so pretty amazing really as we thought he may have to take a pay cut to begin with to get some Oz experience.

Friday culminated in us landing a house on the estate we had decided on in the UK so pretty fantastic, we get the keys this coming tuesday, its a complex and has a gym, a swimming pool and tennis courts, its also across the street from a lake (or loch for you scots!!) with a fantastic play park with barbecues and under cover picnic areas.

The school is a 5 minute walk as are the football pitches where Ethans new soccer (footie to us....) team train! there is also a skate park with loads of ramps, Ethan has already bought himself a pair of skates to get in practise.

Anyway this is our 5 days in short and as you can see its all fell into place nicely.

PS the weather from wednesday onwards has been fantastic. Today is beautiful, hope the sun is shining for you all to.
