Kids first day in school tomorrow and I am off on a first aid course. Apparently CPR is on a super model and not a mannequin:D
Applied for a job miles away, but it's in a beautiful place and a job has also come up close by. The education system seems to be quite different in SA to the UK. Well I have been on a Mandatory Notification course (child protection) today and now have the certificate:).
So I just need my teaching registration and then I am off an running and can teach in Australia! Hopefully I will get it soon so I can get some supply (relief over here). Handing an application in for a job tomorrow so fingers crossed. Beautiful here today, a lovely 33degs so it warmed up quickly. Looks like the beach this weekend. We've got our driving licences today and blimey, the photographs are that faint, you can hardly see us - fortunate in my case!
Oh and Mrs C has enrolled for a nursing course for Feb. Although it is heavily subscribed so she may not get on but, worth a try. Cooler |

Got my teaching registration back today and it's only taken four weeks which is very quick. My First Aid certificate has not turned after two weeks, but I am a qualified first aider so any probs, call me:eek:

Not a major update, but we're off to the beach no the kids are back from school. Only 36degrees where we are.
Golf tomorrow so let's see if we can cope with the heat and hack around. Forget Melbourne and Tiger, come to see Mrs C and I at Wilunga Golf Club! Far more entertaining. Cooler |
