We have arrived!

We have arrived!
ok, so we are here three weeks now, but hey! it takes time to get things sorted
We stayed for two weeks in a lovely cottage in Burbank, Mackensie and are now living in Currumbin Valley. The only fitting description is beautiful
We were a little frustrated at the process of getting things like drivers licence, TFN and medicare but we eventually got through the red tape. Bought a car! woohoo! our first car paid for outright! A lovely toyota tarago. The kids are starting school hopefully after the easter break and they are loving it out here. The flights were totally trouble free and the kids were amazing for the whole journey We didn't even suffer from jet lag!!
We have found people to be very friendly and welcoming and the aussie drivers are no worse than the drivers in Northern Ireland! Can hardly believe what we have dreamed about and for, for over 18 months is finally a reality for us, feeling very blessed right now.
Having a great time buying new stuff too, its such a hardship picking a new TV and sound system it is tempting to go totally mad, but have now stopped converting back and slowly turning into a sensible woman with money again, well slowly anyway! heehee
Will post some photos if anyone is interested, but just to let you guys know we were here.

Re: We have arrived!
ok, hopefully there will some photos, again more personal than anything, but hopefully the smiles will tell a thousand words,
The wallaby was in our front garden in our current rental, less than 8 feet away from us, and the pool is the one again in our current rental.
