I won't get too specific, since I value my privacy. All I can tell you is that my suburb is within the City of Playford, north of Adelaide. (Some of the ex-pats on this forum will be able to figure it out from their knowledge of the area, but that's fine since they'll be local to me anyway).

It is very green now, but I expect it to look like Africa by the time summer kicks in.

:)

Thanks

Not looking to stalk. Just thought it looked nice compared to what I'd seen of Ad.
Like the style / age of your house. Good luck with the reno's:thumbup:

No worries. :)

The suburb is a reasonably good one (established during the "Ten Pound Pom" era) and our house was built in 1962, using a deliberately English style. This has great appeal to both myself and my wife.

You've done an amazing job with the spa, you certainly deserve to sit in there on a warm evening with glass in hand, relaxing in the bubbles but I bet it must have whiffed a bit though, thought I saw a big fishy thing on one of the photos

I still have no idea how to use it, but at least the water's clean and cold.

Awesome job Vash!
Sorry I can't help with advice about salt & filters & other such matters!
Have you tried asking at your local pool shop?

Not yet; that's tomorrow's job. ;)

Just got the spa covers on tonight. Hopefully not too many moths in it by tomorrow morning. :)

Just think how nice it will be, numty bub in bed, house reno's done for the day, a glass of wine/beer in hand & the spa calling for you & Mrs Stampede!
Awesome!

Re: Vash's Update Thread

It sounds glorious, but there's still a while to go before we reach that stage!

I've discovered that the spa isn't heating the water; what I originally thought was a thermostat has turned out to be a timer. So the water is currently ice cold and anyone getting in there is asking for a hearty dose of hypothermia.

I suspect that a highly expensive mechanical service is well overdue.
