So you can use the lanes for undertaking, overtaking, sitting in the middle lane for ages and causing major conjestion and frustration to other road users.

I assume then that the lack of use of indicators, swerving in and out of lanes, stopping on the freeway to pick up work mates and general lunacy is allowed as well ???????:curse:

Well one is a stretch of coastline over 100kms long and the other is a suburb of about 2kms. They are not the same thing.
