One Year Update

I'll keep this brief as I'm planning on putting detail into my blog so here's my one year blog.

First Week thoughts - OMG, what have I done?

First month's thoughts - OMG, what have I done?

6 month thoughts - Mum and Dad been and gone - OMG, what have I done?

7 months thoughts - Let's buy a house, it's our best chance of settling - OMG, what have I done?

10 months thoughts - Mike's been offered the job of a lifetime, looks like we'll be here a while - OMG, what have I done?

12 months thoughts - sitting on a plane to the UK exaclty a year to the day after landing in Oz as Mike is going to London for a month to train for the new job. Loved seeing family and friends again but realised almost immediately that home is now Australia. You could have knocked me down with a feather:):):):):):)

:eek:Hey Gill,

Was just thinking about you guys the other day. Glad to hear life is going good and you had a good trip back. All the very best for the next year. Les and I have both sat our citizenship test so looks like we'll be Aussies soon:eek:

Cheers

You sound like I did for the first year. We flew back 1 year after moving for family reasons and straight away realised that we now considered Australia home. We thought it was very flat in the UK and we were glad to come 'home'. 3.5 years down now and still loving it here.
