Lightbulb Re: And now what?

Hello,

I was just referred to this thread from the Americans-in-Australia Yahoo Groups mailing list.

Sydeney, could you please email me your CV or at least a more detailed skills list? My company is looking for a maintenance engineer/developer (primarily Java, but if you have heavy web application experience and can convert your .NET skills to Java, it could be acceptable). Taking over your 457 visa would not be a problem for my company as I understand it, as we have an active visa sponsorship program.

Thanks,
Jeremy P.
P.S. this is my first post to this forum, but it appears you can send me a private email through it? if not I can post an email address.

Cool, thanks Jeremy. I am posting the CV right now.

PS: You can remove that mail just for safety.

You should ask to have that e-mail address removed. You just need to make one more post in order to use the private message facility.

Aye, interests in marching bands AND steam engines shouldn't be advertised

Just doing some job research, I like to know where the vacancies are ... especially given the time I spend on here during the 9 to 5

Wow, Jeremy! That's really exciting. I didn't realize by posting the link that I would be able to possibly help Sydeney! That's excellent!!!

What a small world!

Hmm, steam engines I can go with. I'm a member of the Zig Zag Railway co-operative (but I haven't driven a steam engine quite yet!). If you're ever in the NSW Blue Mountains, stop by for a steam engine or railmotor ride in absolutely stunning scenery...

And I did play in a marching band back in high school in the US. There, am I appropriately geeky enough? (Err, I did just admit that I'm not British. Sorry...)

Post #3, PMs here I come!
