!!!IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ALERT!!!
On this day, the 6th February, last year, we started our new life here in Australia! My conclusions are as follows, so you might want to sit down for this...
The people - AMAZING!!!
The country itself - BREATHTAKING!!!
The opportunities - ENDLESS!!!
Thank you Australia, for agreeing to let this be our home, we will forever be in your debt! We've never felt so free and safe in our lives, thank you!!!

Re: The 'Jen1977au' thread
I got a jobbbbbbbb!!!
I start tomorrow, in a school a mile/1.6km from my house! The postholder has been off for the last 9 months and the guy who is currently covering is moving up to Grade 7, thus the vacancy. Been told it could be for the next month, but to expect it to be for the rest of the year! Time will tell....
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
(Oh and I'll be teaching my mates wee boy, OOPS LOL)

Re: The 'Jen1977au' thread
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY I had a fab day, and they even changed the class name from 4W (the fella who is on sick leave) to 4M!!! Finally I have my name 'IN LIGHTS' kinda thing!!! WOOO HOOOOOO LOL Had loads of people welcoming me back (I'd done relief work there before) and saying congrats on being the 32nd teacher!
I'm off to make a sign for my door now!!!
EDIT: PS for the first time since moving here, I finally feel I belong somewhere, yes, I've had plenty of work since we got here, but I have never had MY OWN CLASS, it feels gooooooood!!!
