Hi. I arrive in Perth in a few weeks from Scotland with my hubby and 2 young kids. We are thinking of Joondalup or Quinns Rocks for house hunting. Do you have any advice on these areas for young families?

OK have a good trip over , important stuff 1st you can get IRNBRU square sausage and tattie scones lol . There's lots to do for the kids , sports clubs are very popular our 11yr old plays football , and our wee girl does ballet , plenty of places to learn to swim and they will get a bit of that at school if they are old enough . Joondalup is a little in land if you want to walk to the beach , and the parkings not free in the town area unless you use the one at the mall . You wont need to go into Perth CBD for everyday stuff Couple of cafes down on the beach at Quinns the newer one Portafino's has a play area and nice bbqs out the front that are free of course .Parks are All over the place ,public transport is good in the area . Anything else you would like to know ? |
