Hi Brits
Been here for two weeks now and still trying to sort through the vipers nest of red tape manged to get somewhere to stay now all I have to do is buy a car/van/ ute, get a job, sort some schools out for the kids, get my missus to register as a nurse, drop the hire car off, rent a proper house, get a green card whatever that is, find out when my tools are arriving, find some cheap beer and learn to surf. Lovin' it Steve

Hi steve,
Sounds like you've hit the ground running
If you get stuck with any of it don't forget to come back to BE and ask. There is always someone around who can share tips and advice.
Enjoy your new life in Aus.

Welcome to the land downunder. Hope it's not too wet, doesn't seem to have stopped raining across QLD and NSW the last week or so.
