Do people put up lights on the outside of their houses in Oz ? Are there plenty to buy out there too?

OMG i have never seen so many lights on the houses as i have here MJ, some of them have not took them down yet though which I find quit funny as i'm a get them down on the 2nd Jan kind of gal.

Mike H this is a really good post to read so thanks for sharing, as for new traditions i decided that I did not want to spend Christmas day cooking so I did our big dinner on Christmas eve and we had it that evening. Christmas day we went to the beach (not brill weather though bit overcast)after having a good breakfast. I plan to continue this next year too.
