Blimy, 7 years

And they're putting fireworks on around the country to celebrate it. I am a little concerned as to why London has them too but hay ho. we'd landed about 2 hours ago as I type. Been fun, hard work, difficult emotionally, strain on our marriage, all the things life could be in England.

All in all it's been good for us, and it's our home, which is all anyone can expect I suppose. We didn't expect too much out of it, and so haven't been disappointed, it's just different, and in a good way for us. Wife diploma'd up to the eyeballs, daught at uni, and boy going into year 11. Me? plodding along and having a giggle.

happy new year all

I'm sure London is merely celebrating your great success in Australia and not at all celebrating your leaving :D

Congrats Steve - it'll be seven years for us too in a week's time.. can't believe where the time has gone!
