Hmmm..... maybe I won't tell you where I live after all......

Actually I was just thinking this evening that we'll have to buy a barbie pronto so that we can invite people round for one - what kind of weirdo poms would move in down the street and not have a barbie?! And it will have to be the biggest bestest one so that OH does not get BBQ-envy when we go to other people's houses..... AND I can get some of those funky little foam beer coolers that go over the top of your bottle! And some wine ones too! O the excitement of all, yay!!

If we manage to get a job and can stay then we'll be doing some massive shopping too. I'm sure a BBQ would be high up on the list along with TV, stereo equipment, furniture, etc. Oh.... musn't forget we'll need a place to live first

I love the BBQ and I've often been seen outside when it's raining or below zereo cooking. I'm sure the Auzzies would think it's crazy to be BBQ'ing in sub zero whether. What can I say... I'm Canadian. If I only BBQ'd when it was nice out I'd get out of practice pretty quick!

I've spent a couple of summers in BC & we bbq-ed in the rain more than once, delicious salmon, yum......But they had a big covered deck as the house was built to deal with rain & snow. Have also rigged up some interesting shelters in the UK off the sides of people's houses in the past in an effort to have a bbq in the summer rain! It will be nice to go somewhere that the weather might be a bit more reliable? Here's hoping anyway!
