4 years on...

Omg I know!

How quick did that go lol
In 4 years we have bought land, built a 4 x 2 house with a huge pool, a patio, huge garden, big telly, etc etc. Settled kids in schools and I have my own business. We are fully fledged Australian citizens...
Its been good for me. I do get homesick from time to time, I miss my family back in the UK and thats hard.
But I am here now though and we are very settled. I have made alot of friends, that is a big thing.
It is different though. And its funny thing cos in all the searching I know I did before we came out nothing really gives the answers or prepares you...you can never really understand other peoples experiences, you have to do it for yourself. You have to remember, life is short, you can always go back, nothing ventured nothing gained and you can live anywhere you want to if you just give it time.

Best of luck to all those on the quest to live here x
