As the title says

1994 - Best Year Ever

Because my lifelong dream came true........when I was issued with my permanent resident visa for Australia.

I do not recall a time in my life when I was more happy or thrilled (then I was at that moment) of discovering I could forever stay in the country I had fallen in love with.

I honestly thought I would burst with excitement.

Fast forward 25 years, and I still sometimes find myself marvelling at how lucky I was to have my years of dreaming and longing become an actual reality.

I am not in general a lucky person (I never win competitions, raffles or lotto, and have a deliberating illness to contend with), but I consider myself very lucky to be here.

Anyway they are my thoughts for what they are worth
