Can anyone advise on the best option for health insurance as a UK expat please ?
My husband & I are looking to move to Turkey and have been advised to take out private health insurance
Trouble is I have previous history of a dvt and a minor stroke and the quotes we have received back are astronomical!
Has anyone else had this problem and if so what have you done ?

Most health insurance companies either won't cover pre-existing conditions and still charge you a lot for premiums (you are a much higher risk when you have already had illnesses) or will cover pre-existing conditions and charge you even more !
