holiday home in Turkey, help?
 

Hi,

I wonder if anyone out there can help? Me and my husband are now in a position where we would like to buy a property in Turkey. We are looking at both Bodrum and Altinkum for a holiday home, ideally a villa but we would consider an apartment. Could any one recommend any good reputable estate agents in either areas? Any advice or suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

P.S. We are going out in 5 weeks time for a 1 week holiday with our 4 year old son so don't want to waste time with any agents who aren't strictly kosher! Ta

We to are buying a home in Bodrum have you tried turkeytwinkles, April is very helpful.

If you are going on a short trip try turkish airlines.

We're going out in 2 weeks, so I'll let you know what we buy, where and how much.

We have a budget of around £55,000 and are looking for an detached villa with 3 bedrooms and a big enough garden to put a pool in.

April at Twinkles has been a great help to date.

It would be fantastic to know how you get on. We have a budget similar to yours so it would be interesting to see what you get for your money.

My mum & dad in law moved to Turkey last July to retire & bought their villa through Redtek Real Estate : http://www.redtekrealestate.com/

They have offices in Marmaris, Fethiye & Dalyan, and a UK office in Weston Super Mare UK.

My family bought in Marmaris, but Redtek also have stuff in other places around Turkey.

They are very professional & very highly recc'd.

I have read your messages. My Experience of estate agent company in Turkey extremely good. We are very happy with our purchase of a villa from Metro Estate, There help was marvellous, with the purchasing, and furnishing of our villa and introduces us to the right people to get the job done, and provides us setting up a bank account, hiring a car, transfer from airport, finding an English-speaking notary, selecting a competent architect, attorney or craftsman, or dealing with local authorities.
