Hey so my hubbys got his LMO now and we will be flying out very soon, my friend just pointed out (shes in Canada already) that maybe another other thing is that he might need when we get his work permit is proof that he is enrolled for the Class 1 training course? Because technically he's not qualified to do the job on the LMO permit until he has done that course? Can any Truckers tell me is he would need this??? Thanks peeps xxx

I would bring that paperwork. Normally the TWP would be issued on the proviso that the Class 1 licence be attained.

Everyone gets there LMO before entry then work permit at the POE , WP states who he is working for , They will know he hasn't got a Canadian Class One and wont have till he passes the test . Then he can start work , Although he will still be employed by the company till he passes the test .
