neil, this is only for drivers already in Canada that want to change employers..
This came from a fellow Scot who is looking to return to Canada.and has spoken very recently to transx.
hope this helps some folk that are being dumped by other Canadian companies.

Just read,
TransX Winnipeg "LMIA's available for drivers ALREADY in Canada, may help drivers from Alberta. They will be given on a first come first serve basis, Email Steve at recruiting, no phone calls."

As you've rightly said Neil it could help a few from AB , wouldn't be an employer of choice otherwise . I rate them alongside Day and Ross for driving standards , which isn't good , but if your here with/without a family in tow and time is running out for PR in AB it must be worth a shot versus returning to where ever .

Aye you are right Jimmy ,hopefully it will help some of those drivers in AB.Transx arent the best but if it helps some people to stay in Canada cant be all bad.I wonder if Bison will be issued with LMIAs soon.
Neilg14 how bad are things in AB ?I was thinking of going there to work,I got mate near Edmonton keeps telling to come there BUT I also see on kijiji AB drivers posting ads themselves with x amount of yrs experience in oilfields etc. which isnt a good sign for me anyway!

Neil, you're a PR or Citizen aren't you ?
Adverts for drivers outside every transport yard I pass in Calgary and on Kijiji in Calgary area between 900 - 1400 truck driving adverts, depending what time of year. Much the same in Edmonton.

Smudger, I met a driver a while back, from the UK, can't remember where but what you said here sounds very familiar. He worked for a Scotsman and was getting robbed blind. He said he was packing it in after that trip, IIRC, he did Calgary, tipped Phoenix, reload Yuma to Calgary all the time, could it be the same company ?
