We are looking to move to Winnipeg, my husband is a HGV driver

We've found a company who have offered us an interview they tell us the pay is $3000+ a monthor $0.38 a mile. Is this about average?

Any truckers already in Canada can give us any other advice would be fantastic.

Hi 3000$ a month thats 36k a year,the minimum is 42k ????
At the top of this page is WIKI click that,then Canada click that,then scroll down till you find Truckin/Transport,then scroll again to websites. There i have placed the adresses of all of the provicial transport Assocs with access to all of there members(about 1500 truck companies). Get your hubby to put together a good CV on an Email and send send send as i did(approx 300 times) had over 50 job offers. I started on Feb 2nd 2007, i now live in Kamloops BC with a job paying a damm sight more than your quote. Good luck

$0.38 cents per mile is good for NS and average for Ontario although i have no idea about Winnipeg
