Long distance truck drivers required
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

B. Lefevre Transport is a small family owned international transportation company looking to hire family oriented, long term drivers only.
Salary:
From $3,500.00 to $6,500.00 monthly, 70.00 Hours per week

Skill Requirements:
Education:
Graduate degree – MUST SPEAK CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):
Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, FAST card, Air brake adjustment certification
Experience:
3 years experience minimum
Languages:
Speak English, Read English, Write English
Type of Trucking and Equipment:
Open deck – Legal and Wide loads

Type of Travel: Long-haul, International
Documentation Knowledge:
Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trans-border documentation, Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Accident or incident reports
Communication Equipment Experience: Citizens band (CB) radio, Cellular phone
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills:
Loading and unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Plan travel schedules and routes, Use atlases and other trip planning aids, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Perform brake adjustments, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness, Perform preventive maintenance, Perform emergency roadside repairs
Additional Skills:
Professionalism in customer service, Handle inquiries from customers
Security and Safety:
Bondable, Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), Medical exam, Drug test
Own Tools/Equipment:
All PPE including but not limited to: Steel-toed safety boots, Hardhat, Safety glasses, Fire-retardant coveralls, etc.
Transportation/Travel Information:
Capable of cross-border travel, willing to travel for extended periods, willing to travel overnight, valid driver's licence
Work Location Information: Various locations – Canada and USA
