Re: Loblaw
Hello again guys from snowy Regina lol, been here nearly a week now I think(jet lag kicked my arse for a few days lol) and all is good, my family and I are in our own place and I've bought an auction bargain motor to get us around too. It's been amusing this week with everybody telling us the weather is abnormal for the time of year, it's like they're trying to convince us to stay lol. FTTM I don't know where you're getting info from but none of the newbies have complained about the cold as far as I'm aware although one of them jacked in after 3 days training. You'll have to try harder than that to get rid of me, met some of the lads and they seem like a decent bunch and also none of them appear to be complaining they're not making enough. All you doubters should maybe cut the Loblaws guys a bit of slack as the job is pretty much as described, there'll be moaners and whiners wherever you go but for a grafter the money is there to be made.
Anyone who Pm'd me about accommodation send me your email addys and I'll forward them on to my friend with the contacts if you like |

Re: Loblaw
Anybody going over to Loblaw on 15th April and want to share accommodation. I went over last year with them, but came back to UK after 2 months cos wife was ill. I am going back on 15th, but the house I was living in is no longer available. Cheers.

How soon do you get out on the highways , and what sort of runs are you doing , pikes/singles ? Get the next few weeks out of the way and we'll grab a beer sometime , if I'm not living in a boat by then LOL . Best of luck with the test , Rob will get you sorted . |

Not sure if given you a good idea or not. So difficult as someone else might think something expensive where others don't. We have friends here with kids who think shopping expensive, but if you weigh things up ive worked out its on par with UK, but I cook from scratch an freeze things. They seem to bulk buy here too, so for someone living on there own initial layout can seem expensive. |
